Item technical details & specifications: The btfa buffer tube folding adapter from sb tactical provides a simple upgrade to improve the portability of your bolt action chassis-system rifle by giving it a folding buttstock. The btfa lets you put a folding stock on any rifle that uses a standard ar-15 buffer tube as the attachment point for mounting its buttstock. The adapter simply screws into the rear of the chassis, where the ar-15 buffer tube would normally go, and then the buffer tube is screwed into the btfa. The btfa adds only 1.1" to your rifle's length-of-pull when installed. You can either compensate for that by extending the buttstock a little less, if it's an adjustable m4 carbine type stock.
